Chedeville Shines at the Inaugural Texas Clarinet Symposium
Chedeville proudly participated in the inaugural Texas Clarinet Symposium last week, an event featuring distinguished faculty from the Houston and Dallas Symphony Orchestras. The symposium provided elite instruction for aspiring orchestral clarinetists and enriching experiences for clarinetists of all levels through recitals, masterclasses, and pedagogical presentations. With four different tracks—three for students and one for the general public—the event catered to a diverse range of attendees.
The symposium boasted a star-studded lineup of clarinet educators, including Sasha Potiomkin, Gregory Raden,- Questions for Jessica, Mark Nuccio, Patricia Card, Kimberly Cole Luevano, Randall Griffin, Jonathan Gunn, Marci Gurnow, Stephanie Key, Phillip Paglialonga, Chester Rowell, Christian Schubert, Andrea Vos-Rochefort and Robert Walzel – making this a truly memorable event.
The event’s highlight was each evening concert, featuring the entire Houston Symphony clarinet section and solo performances by the clarinet faculty. The performances were exceptional, showcasing incredible tone quality and blend. We heard unique pieces for clarinet that are not commonly played. This event underscored the high level of artistry present at the symposium.
Throughout the symposium, the interest in our Chedeville mouthpieces was incredible. Many attendees had the opportunity to try our products and were impressed by the quality and craftsmanship.
With the inaugural event successfully completed, we look forward to increased participation and continued success in future symposiums. Stay tuned for more updates and events where you can experience Chedeville mouthpieces firsthand!
