What is the POWER RING Ligature?

The POWER RING Ligature is designed to provide an optimal balance of performance and function. This unique design emphasizes the full harmonic spectrum of the clarinet, producing a rich and resonant sound with balanced high, mid, and low frequencies. Increasing the efficiency of vibration.

The best clarinet ligatures allow the reed the most freedom to vibrate. The more vibration there is from the reed, the more harmonics will be present in the clarinet sound, but increasing the efficiency of the reed’s vibration will also make the mouthpiece feel easier to blow and provide more body. This was the goal for the new POWER RING Ligature and it is exactly what it achieves.

The POWER RING Ligatures are individually CNC machined from virgin brass at the Chedeville factory in Savannah, GA. Each POWER RING Ligature comes with a mouthpiece cap.

Perfect Fit

POWER RING Ligatures fit all Chedeville mouthpieces and almost all other popular brand mouthpieces. (At this time we do not have a POWER RING that fits Bass Clarinet mouthpieces). The size and taper of each of the POWER RING Ligature models is perfectly designed to be an exact fit with the designated Chedeville mouthpiece. The POWER RING simply slides over the reed and becomes very secure as it is pushed tightly over the reed.

Though the new POWER RING Ligatures are designed specifically to fit Chedeville mouthpieces with multiple size options available, there’s sure to be a POWER RING model that fits your mouthpiece whatever the brand.
