The Chedeville RC Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece
The Chedeville RC Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece creates a warm beautiful saxophone tone with excellent control and intonation. The medium length, classic “Chedeville facing curve” and a round chamber, produce a full tone with play-ability that is unsurpassed. Articulation, pianissimo to fortissimo dynamics, altissimo, your ability to express the beauty of the tenor saxophone and the music you are playing are at the forefront of all our decisions in designing and creating the RC Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece.
No expense has been spared in creating the Chedeville RC Saxophone Mouthpieces.
Starting with our proprietary “Chedeville Rubber”, which is a more pure rod ebonite that recreates the great rod rubber of Pre World War II legendary Chedeville mouthpieces. If you don’t see the symbol CHR on the mouthpiece than it does not have “Chedeville Rubber“.
We manufacture the mouthpieces from beginning to end in our factory in Savannah Georgia using state of the art CNC machines and expert mouthpiece artisans on the crucial and indispensable handwork.
During the development of RC line, 100’s of mouthpieces were played and studied in order to discover how to bring out the true essence of the tenor saxophone. For example the wooden flute like qualities were enhanced on this tenor sax mouthpiece while still retaining a nice round sound on the bottom end of the horn.
Consistency is our obsession. That is why we have the most extensive series of mandatory measurements and play testing in the industry.
We encourage you to embrace our “Life Without Limits” philosophy. We have made a mouthpiece which will not hinder you in any way and allow you to achieve your musical goals and beyond.
